A record rainfall for March hit CP on the 17th. My rain gauge in the front yard measured 5 1/2 inches of the wet stuff in 24 hours.

Here are two pictures, taken May 31 from 10th St south, of the fire that has been raging for three days in Estero. The second picture was taken 10 minutes after the first. It had appeared that the fire was somewhat under control late May 30th, but as you can see, it flared up again.

Just a few reasons why your Web Mistress enjoys the North in July and August. I do miss Citrus Park and the folks there, but I just love my back yard!

More parade pictures. Looks like a wonderful day and a good time.

A lot of work went into the float for the parade. Many thanks to everyone who contributed. I don't have everyone's names to mention individually, but their efforts earned a Third Place!! Way to go!

Yours truly took a Dinner Cruise with a group from Springrock Camp (my summer residence) on Stony Lake aboard The Chippewa II Saturday July 31.  There were few sunny periods, but despite the rain a good time was had by all.
