Here are The Sunshine Girls on March 25 in Clearwater. The team played in the Good Life games and placed first. The picture shows them with their trophy which will be taken to their sponsor, Eye Centers of Florida. We will be bringing it back to the trophy case here in Citrus Park at the Rec Hall in the fall. The Good Life Games qualifies them to represent Florida in the games in Fort Myers. Those games will be the qualifying games for the Senior Olympics in the summer of 2007.

Pictures taken May 13 06 from 10th St S of a brush fire near Vincent St, located between Terry and Bonita Beach Roads East. 100 acres burned before being contained. Weather forecasters say we should have rain Tuesday.

These pictures above were taken at the bottom of 10th Street (today) May 10/06. We had 1/10th of an inch of rain yesterday, the first rain in 71 days. We need much much more. The fish, small turtles and baby alligators are becoming easy pickings for the birds.
